About us
We are Tesla Transformers, a 100% Colombian company with more than 40 years of experience in the electrical industry. Since 1984, we have specialized in the design and manufacture of electrical transformers, with a product line that includes:
- Open dry-type and resin-encapsulated transformers, with capacities up to 5 MVA in class H and class F insulation, and voltage levels up to 36 kV.
- Oil-immersed transformers up to 20 MVA at voltage levels up to 36 kV.
- Pad-mounted transformers, switchgear cabinets, tap boxes, and reactors.
We currently operate from the municipality of Funza, Cundinamarca, where we have a production plant of more than 10,000 m² equipped with state-of-the-art technology that allows us to optimize and streamline our processes, ensuring high quality standards in every product we manufacture.
Our products are the result of an ongoing commitment to efficiency, innovation, and compliance with the strictest quality controls, enabling us to offer reliable, high-performance solutions to our customers.
Throughout our history, we have been strategic allies of the leading construction companies, engineering firms, and contractors in the public and private sectors in Colombia. Our participation in key projects such as shopping centers, clinics, hospitals, hotels, distribution centers, manufacturing industries, and sectors such as oil and gas, confirms our position as a leading brand in the country.
One of the fundamental pillars of Tesla Transformadores is our team. We deeply value the people who have been part of our history, and we work every day with dedication, knowledge, and passion for quality to provide a friendly and reliable service.
In addition, for several years we have been actively participating in the Technical Committee for the Standardization of Electrical Transformers of the Colombian Institute of Technical Standards and Certification (ICONTEC), contributing to the strengthening and evolution of the electrical sector in Colombia.

Tesla Transformadores implemented its ISO 9001 Quality Management System in 2002, which remains in force to this day and supports all its design, manufacturing, and service processes. This international certification reflects the company’s commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction, consolidating the trust of the leading companies in the electrical sector in Colombia and the region.

Quality Policy
We manufacture dry-type, oil-immersed, pedestal, special, and switchgear transformers in accordance with national and international standards.
