Tesla Transformadores S.A.S. (“Tesla Transformadores”), in compliance with Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1377 of 2013, and other applicable regulations, informs all holders of personal data contained in its databases of the policies and procedures adopted to guarantee the fundamental right of habeas data and the proper protection of their information.

This document sets out the terms under which Tesla Transformadores processes personal data and describes the mechanisms available to data subjects to exercise their rights.

3. Purposes of personal data processing

Tesla Transformadores may collect, store, use, circulate, and delete personal data for the following purposes:

  • Comply with contractual, legal, and accounting obligations.

  • Manage commercial, administrative, financial, production, and human talent (HR) processes.

  • Send relevant information about products, services, activities, and events.

  • Handle requests, complaints, claims, or petitions from data subjects.

  • Conduct satisfaction surveys and market studies.

  • Fulfill obligations arising from contracts with customers, suppliers, and employees/contractors.

4. Rights of data subjects

Pursuant to Law 1581 of 2012, data subjects have the right to:

  • Know, update, and rectify their personal data.

  • Request proof of the authorization granted for data processing.

  • Be informed about the use made of their data.

  • File complaints with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce for violations of the law.

  • Revoke authorization and/or request deletion of the data when constitutional and legal principles, rights, and guarantees are not respected.

  • Access, free of charge, their personal data that have been processed.

5. Procedure for exercising rights

Data subjects or their successors (causahabientes) may exercise their rights by sending a written communication to the Personal Data Officer, to the email address or physical address indicated in this document.

The request must include:

  • Full name of the data subject.

  • Identification document.

  • Clear and precise description of the request.

  • Physical or electronic address to receive a response.

  • Supporting documents for the request (if applicable).

Response times will be in accordance with Articles 14 and 15 of Law 1581 of 2012:

  • Inquiries: up to 10 business days.

  • Claims: up to 15 business days.

6. Information security

Tesla Transformadores implements technical, human, and administrative measures to ensure information security and prevent its loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorized access, or fraud.

7. Term

This policy takes effect as of its publication on the Tesla Transformadores website and will remain in force for as long as the personal data databases are used.
